Kungliga Musikhögskolan I Stockholm

Profile:

Royal College of Music in Stockholm is the oldest institution of higher music education in Sweden, founded in 1771 as the conservatory of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. The conservatory was made independent of the Academy in 1971. Commonly referred to as KMH, and since the college has studio facilities and concert halls where live recordings have been made, it is important to distinguish credits for the college from those of KMH Studios located at Bysistorget in Södermalm.
