Alpha Records Inc

Former US record pressing plant in Plantation, Florida. Use for LCCN "Pressed By" credit when stated on release, when identified by "AR#####" string in runouts, or by trailing -"AM" in runouts of T.K. Records releases. Please do not identify Alpha on the basis of an "AR#####" string alone, as this pattern is not unique to Alpha (identifier timeline listed below). Pressing ring configuration: "muffin" style with 2.75" raised outer ring, 1.375" inner ring. For Record Company credits, please use Alpha Records (13).

Founded by Richard Albert Smith; also known as Alpha Music Manufacturing Corporation. Incorporated February, 1965 as Alpha Records, Inc. and dissolved in 2007, the company was reorganized under new ownership as Alpha Music Manufacturing Corporation at the same location in 2008, but closed in 2010. The presses were later acquired by SunPress Vinyl in Miami.
