Founded in 2004 in Moscow, Russia by soul mates Nowhereman and Tony Lizard, the label's main strategy was to release tracks of talented promising Russian artists along with artists from all over the world.
Vertigo Records became one of the first professional psy-trance labels in Russia and became known for their "Russian night psychedelic sound". After a few years Tony Lizard left Vertigo and musical direction of the label also changed towards more diverse psychedelic trance music. In 2010 DJ Unitone ed the label as marketing and booking manager.
