Italian (Bologna) indie label operating between January 1979 and April 2010.
In the 1980s specialized in licensing/pressing of well-known new wave and metal acts as well as acts on Rough Trade.
The company first resided at Via Castiglione 109 but moved to Via Collamarini 26 in October 1981. So, all releases carrying Via Collamarini (since 1987 also with a fax number), cannot have been released earlier than 1981 or are reissues. Since 2001 the label was residing at Via Giuseppe Massarenti.
The re-issues they did of the Bernard Stollman, owner of the music and of ESP Disk.

    I think it was jello biafra who said base was a bootleg label..?, they were inferior quality/ budget versions sold in chainstores during the 80s

        so it seems to me most of these releases are actually bootlegs. does anyone have any additional knowledge about this label and its releases? i've wound up with several of their pressings and am curious as to any backstory. a cursory search of google and wikipedia turns up nothing significant...
