In 2018, Delmark Records LLC purchased the Chicago Blues & Jazz label founded by Delmar Records, then to Delmark Records in 1963 after a legal dispute initiated by Selmer, the musical instrument company which had an d Selmer label (Delmar, they argued, was too similar a name to Selmer.)
