Independent European record company and publisher based near Munich, founded by Karl Egger, Manfred Eicher is the artistic head and producer of ECM, Karl Egger functions as leader of the distribution and the staff, which is employed by him. Karl Egger also provides the premises for ECM Records in Gräfelfing and before at its first location in Munich-Pasing.
