Canadian record club, originally a division of Records Unlimited Co., Ltd., headed by Lawrence D. Graner and Seymour Iseman. When launched in the late 1960s it was the only wholly-Canadian-owned record club at the time and boasted over 250,000 at one point. Marvin Scharf ed as Advertising/Promotions and Public Relations Manager in January, 1971. Iseman left in 1971 and Graner sold the club to Record Club Of America, Inc. in August of 1971, staying on in a management capacity and remaining the majority shareholder. Operations ceased in the mid-1970s when Record Club of America shut down.
