Successor to Technicolor, Guadalajara, Mexico. After filing for bankruptcy in 2020 and restructuring its activities, Technicolor rebranded to Vantiva in September 2022. Originally only a CD and DVD duplication plant, at the time of the name change vinyl pressing was added to the repertory.
The plant is a full-service manufacturer offering electroplating (both 2- and 3-step plating) and packaging (both in Guadalajara and in a Mexicali, Mexico campus facility). At the start of production, Vantiva partnered with Sterling Sound Nashville for lacquer disc mastering, but started in-house cutting in 2023. The company also handles shipping and distribution from its facilities in Nashville, Tennessee, USA and builds custom displays for retailers.
As of 2023, Vantiva in Mexico operates 30 machines with a capacity of 23 million records a year. It currently only presses 12" records (140g or 180g) and will take up 7" and 10" production in the future. If offers a wide range of color options.

Identifying pressings
Vantiva is not explicitly named in the disc matrix but continues the matrix pattern used by its predecessor Technicolor, namely a 7-digit number in brackets (AAAAAAA), and this both for CD and vinyl. Pending more information, a release date in 2023 is considered the cut-off point for crediting Vantiva instead of Technicolor.
• Vinyl records: the (AAAAAAA) job number on the B-side is one higher than on the A-side. Please credit with "Pressed By" and add the job numbers in LCCN.
Sometimes the record will carry a "Made in Mexico" sticker or have "Vinyl made in Mexico" mention inkstamped on the shrinkwrap.

· BB is a variable 2-digit number that probably identifies the glass master (i.e. the first glass master for this release, a second glass master if the first was damaged or exhausted)
· CCCC is a 4-digit number that is often stamped over the mirror band rather than printed and may identify the stamper

"Made in Mexico" may be stamped in the hub mould. US and Canadian releases manufactured by this plant will often carry a sticker on shrinkwrap stating "DISC MADE IN MEXICO," or the same text inkstamped on the jewel case or amaray case.
