3BC

3BC was a brand initially used by Colin Cotter (2). 3BC's glass mastering and pressings were handled by third party manufacturers, often uncredited on the release. As such, please do not use the glass mastering credit for this company; instead use the Manufactured By or Made By tags.

Please note that since 3BC did not run its own pressing plant, it should never be credited based only on SID codes, since these SID codes are associated not with 3BC but with the external pressing plants. 3BC may only be credited when its name is written on the release.

Earlier releases had 'MAN BY 3BC 01' in the matrix string. Later releases credits 3BC via a web address or URL, in which case please credit that URL. For example, either 3BC.co.uk in the CD matrix. 3BC.org.uk was the first domain for their website, and was subsequently changed to 3BC.co.uk.

Between mid-2006 and the end of 2009 EDC Blackburn Ltd is a manufacturer this broker is known to have used for glass mastering and pressing functions.
