Allied Records Ltd.

Profile:

London based manufacturing company.
Principal activities - plating, pressing, manufacturing of gramophone records and cassettes.

Established in August 1955 by Concert Hall Record Club, the leading American manufacturer of budget line classical music. In 1960 Allied bought the bankrupt Trojan Records.
After 1982 Allied Records Ltd. only continued to press LPs, until 1985.
In 1986 Allied Records Ltd. was dissolved by parent Art & Sound Ltd. and the plant was closed.
