Flight 13 Duplication

Flight13 Duplication was a German based CD, DVD and vinyl lacquer cutting and record pressing plant active from 2005 to 2021 in Karlsruhe and later in Pforzheim. It started as a broker for vinyl and CD productions. Around 2009 the first manual press (a picture disc press) was bought. In 2010 a Neumann VMS 80 cutting lathe was installed. The presses were sold end of 2021.

Can be identified by their internal project number "FLV-2XX.XXX" in the vinyl run-out area. That number indicates that the production was handled by them. FLV-20 can be misread "FCU" or "FCU W". As it is not yet clear at which point and for which task the number has been allocated, do NOT add these numbers as LCCN numbers.

99% of the vinyl cuts are done by Flight 13 Duplication themselves. However, vinyl pressings are often (ca. 30%) in collaboration with Optimal Media GmbH was pressing the vinyl.
