www.gzvinyl.com

Profile:

Vinyl manufacturing brand initially started by GZ Media, first ed in 2003.

The brand is also referred to as GZ V!nyl (GZ Vinyl) but rarely credited as such on the releases themselves. Please restrict the use of this profile to releases specifically using the "www.gzvinyl.com" url in the vinyl runout area.

When adding LCCNs for vinyl records with 'www.gzvinyl.com' in the runouts, please use a "Manufactured By" credit without a catalog number, like so:
Manufactured By — www.gzvinyl.com

Most vinyl manufactured by www.gzvinyl.com is pressed by GZ Media.

Note that releases which include this URL in the runout area but appear to have been released earlier than 2003, are probably reissues or represses.

Terrible quality records. Even when the discs look half decent the noise floor is unbearable. The latest LP I bought from them I cleaned straight away before it even touched my deck, still pops and clicks constantly all the way through. Unlistenable, avoid.

Avoid whenever possible. QC does not exist and a lot of records are scratched/warped and dirty straight out of the cover. They also very often use slippery paper inners, which are a dust magnet and it results in even more scratches... but even a record that had poly-lined inners had a big scratch. Very rarely you can get a perfect copy of an album pressed by GZ and I'm talking about new and sealed records here...

I have many records manufactured by GZVinyl with really poor quality. Their QA seems to be inexistent.
I strongly dislike anything pressed by them.

Had more than one record that was manufactured by gzvinyl come out of the shrinkwrap from new looking like a badly cared for secondhander with many hairline scratches and several fingermarks on the playing surface! Not cool!
