The Record Plant was created by recording engineer The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland.
After growing success, Kellgren then opened a second Record Plant in Los Angeles in 1969, gaining more attention from bands on America's West Coast. Thus, the plant was often referred to as "Record Plant West" and was located at 8456 West Third Street, near La Cienega Boulevard. This George Martin.
