Profile:	Globo Discos was a label that launched the conglomerate Globo compilations of hits and soup operas soundtracks instead Som Livre. Also released a single LP of Xuxa (Karaokê da Xuxa), who was contracted at the time by Som Livre. Globo Discos released LPs between August and December 1987. After December 1987 Globo Records stopped releasing records and all of the soup operas soundtracks and compilations of hits began to be released by Som Livre.
