Profile:

German record company, originally known as Bumb & Koenig GmbH, Berlin (pronounced BeKa). It owned the Era Grand Record labels.

Created in 1903, at first BeKa released music cylinders but in 1904 they started to release grammophone records. Somewhere after that period the company was sold openly and became BeKa-Rekord A.-G.. The company pressed for export in Russia, England (as Era (7), Argentina and other countries.

In 1910, it was adquired by Beka.
