Gearbox Records

British independent label, releasing both new music by contemporary artists and previously-unreleased archival recordings, and mastering studio of the same name. Founded in 2009 and based in London and Tokyo, it is owned and run by Darrel Sheinman.

Well known for their jazz releases, some taken from jazz programmes on the Ronnie Scott's.

They also do various studio mixing and production work, and since 2012 run an all-analogue lacquer cutting and mastering studio situated at Zelig Studios).

For its own releases Gearbox Records usually works with Optimal Media GmbH.
