Final Frontier is an electronic music production company that is located in Rome, Italy. Its activity started back in 1993 together with the shop Remix and it was the first specialized distributor for experimental electronic dance music in Italy. Marco arani and Andrea Benedetti were leading the company together 'till 1999 when Andrea decided to leave and Marco took the lead of it. Remix Distribution the Final Frontier brought in Italy a lot of new labels as far as it was the main company for the undeground electronic dance music; some of the names Remix brought in Italy for the first time are Skam, Underground Resistance, Viewlexx, Klang, Playhouse, Clone, Schematic, Chocolate Industries, Ifach, Kompakt, SCSI, Serotonin, Interdimensional Transmission, Profan, Trope, Cheap, Bpitch Control, Ersatz Audio etc. etc.
While importing every new good labels that were out there, Remix Distribution was producing labels such as Nature records and Plasmek getting from all the electronic dance network around the globe: since 1993 Remix Distribution produced more than 40 records bringing the electronic music made in Rome to the attention of many people.
