المؤسسة الإلكترونية الحديثة - ميجاستار (The Modern Electronic Institute - Megastar) is owned by the Saudi prince محمد العبد الله الفيصل, founded in 1992 as a Saudi Arabian Company, a subsidiary of the Saudi Al Faisaliah Group based in the city of Jeddah. The name has twice been changed slightly.

Specialized in distributing audio and video products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab gulf countries and the Middle East, where it owns the exclusive distribution rights to the largest international music and film companies such as Sony Music International, BMG, Columbia Tristar, and Fox. MGM and many other well-known agencies in the field of home entertainment. In 2002, it bought a 51% stake in Moonlight Music Company in Lebanon.
