Vital Vinyl (5)

My Impulse reissues from this series have been perfect so far. Top notch pressings and sound. Not sure if the Verve series is less fine.

I confirm the bad reviews. Unfortunately my copy was full of clicks and pops that make a minimally pleasant listening unbearable. Total lack of quality control of this pressing. It is useless to announce on the sticker that it is an original Impulse disc where original Impulse tapes are used if the vinyl manufacture is poor.

Subpar pressings and no gatefolds. Disappointing, go for different issues if available.

Very disappointing and poor quality of the pressings. Buy another collection !

Bad quality pressings. Scuffs, stains, and very dirty records. The sound is very nice but affected by the pressing.
