It took me a while to realize the dots on the logo spell "DATA".
But I agree with progged below, this label died a long time ago. I will keep the fond memories though of this label introducing me to trance music.

Originally founded as a 12" only trance label, I read at the time being run by Tiesto? (maybe a & r initially!), overtime as Ministry decided to close other sub labels and consolidate all genres into one label data became home to house and even cheesy commercial pop trance, while occasionally still releasing good trance along the way (some being vinyl only releases).

I have to say, I look forward to seeing a CD single from Data. When I see the cover, I immediately recognize it’s a Data release, associate it with quality, and expect a solid single. I like the consistent cover art—I like the professionalism. I don’t need to inflate my ego by pretending it’s automatically bad just because it’s popular.

You might think they’re great or selling out, none the less I buy DATA releases mainly for one reason: quality. Not the release, mostly they are somewhat late released and with fewer tracks, but the vinyl, the "T" at the end of the catalogue number, pressings are really good. No matter how great at track is if it’s unplayable/keeps skipping is no good.

One of my favorite labels of all time, has had incredible releases, such as first ever trance Number 1 on the UK charts; ATB-Till I come, great Ibiza 2000 tunes: Storm-Time to burn, Zombie Nation-Kernkraft 400, and tracks+ remixes by Kamaya Painters and Oliver Lieb. Has disappointed a little bit lately, with Lost Witness' Song to the Siren, Plaything's new tune, but Paffendorf and Cosmic Gate with the tunes "Be Cool" and "Exploration of space" are massive.
