Invisible Halahup is one of the best known pirate labels from the ex-USSR. Invisible Halahup gained big popularity because it was one of the first pirate labels that started making releases with nicely designed booklets, printed on high quality paper, often multi-page, containing artists biographies and rare photos. Another factor was that Invisible Halahup released music of all possible styles - Pop, Rock, Electronic, Club dance, Hip-hop, Alternative and so on.
Some releases contain really unique track selections taken from quality sources. At the same time some other releases may contain poor quality recordings mastered from MP3 files or taken from "jumping" original CDs.
Some sources state that this label originates from Ukraine, others say it was a pirate devision of Мистерия Звука in 90s. Some later releases contained texts on cover saying they were manufactured in St. Petersburg, Russia. Many later releases also contained the following text in the inner ring of the CD - "Лицензия МПТР России ВАФ №72-25" (means "manufactured under license №72-25, issued by Russian Ministry of Press, Broadcasting and Mass Communications") .
Label's releases were widely sold both in Ukraine & Russia.
