Pretty poor sound quality from this label. Muffled soundstages, no instrument separation ever, the vocals always suffer from sibilance and distortion, and entire albums mixed too fast, and not just with Cold Spring Harbor either. All of the LPs i have on the standalone Family Productions label sound "Too Fast" to me. Definitely seems like it was a long running thing with this label, and Billy Joel was the only one to openly express his frustration with it.
