Personally, I am incredibly dissatisfied that such a label with such amazing vinyl only (not anymore) material, has now gone digital on websites such as Apple music and Amazon... not what the scene needs in my opinion. I am all for accessibility, I just wouldn't have expected it from Yoyaku. Being a physical store with an agency and a whole roster of artists and churning out new (indie) labels at an impressive rate, surely there's no need to profit from a beautiful piece of art which is the YYY label. The way this label was presented, packaged and sold, was aimed at those collectors and audiophiles that were willing to part their money for a very high-quality product. I believe a repress series would have made much more sense.
The first three releases have the symbol of the golden ratio (used a lot in art and architecture). On the google link, the number of this golden ratio is 1.61803398875. If you take the three numbers of each three numbers and add YYY before, you find the order of the releases. This time the golden number finished with 875.
Each release also has a specific color :白 (white) 黒 (black) 金 (gold).
