I'm trying to figure out the artist/producer on the A-side of my Roy Richards "Freedom Blues" single (Studio 1 black & white label) The A side label is a blank and the music is definitely not a version of the b side song. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks. -

what is etched in the run out area?
have you checked the Roots Knotty Roots site?
They list these possibilities:
Slendors - First Time I Met You - Banana
Slendors - First Time I Met You - Coxsone
Sound Dimension - Freedom Dub - Coxsone
Sound Dimension - Freedom Version - Studio One -

Thanks for the help and the Roots Knotty Roots lead. Aye, my version is the Slendors B-side. Is there a way to cruise the RKR site without purchasing a subscription? -

Not that I know of.
I'll be happy to look up a few if you need them but I have found it to be well worth the subscription. -

Hey ScottieB, I have another one for you. I have a Slim Smith's 'Hip Hug' single with a white label blank for a B-side. It's on Studio 1, black & white label. Any idea what this mystery song could be? Much appreciated, Utrillo. -
