I have a UK copy of Keep Yourself Alive by Queen released by EMI and it has a factory sample sticker on it and I want to find out 2 things, if a factory sample is a test pressing, and if a factory sample will have a different matrix number to a normal pressing. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
It isn't a test pressing as there would not have the artwork etc. It is just a normal pressing no different to the commercial release and the matrix will be the same.

Wrong: I recently saw - 14th of May '25, two test pressings with full MPO labels both sides of, and both came in full sleeve:
