Why was that thread deleted?

Hi,

Can someone, a perhaps, tell me why the thread I had responded to was deleted?

The subject was about looking for obscure CDs. The who initiated the thread had violated Guidline rules by posting CDs he did not have in hand.

I would like to know the rationale behind deleting this thread.

The question is: Are you in the correct forum? You talk about CDs?

I don't have a clue what thread you mean, but an educated guess would lead me to believe that [1] he got butthurt and deleted his , or [2] his offense was egregious enough for Discogs to delete it for him.

Nah, that guy is still there.
He's now spamming the Electronic Music group.
The Vinyl and Chat groups just got rid of him.

No, the thread I responded to must have been in a different community - as pinkindustries suggested. But I have checked Threads I've Posted In, and it is not found there.

It is very strange. I have checked all of my groups, and I see this s repeated post of the same query in 3 places, (( ♥VINYL )) ©, Electronic Music, and Italia. None of these are the thread in which I replied and they, in turn, itted that they had submitted these three entries without having the CDs in hand. I cannot find that thread.

That is why I suggested I might be blocked. And that is also why I asked if anyone knows if it is possible that Now116 was able to delete the thread in which I identified their violation of the Guidelines - or if they would have been able to delete replies to the thread in (( ♥VINYL )) ©, which is where I believe I first saw this.

Those were not the only ones, several more, at least 10 different places on discogs, but I mentioned, when someone has a different opinion he´s going to report the to the staff, is absolutely nonsens, because he´s wrong, all other s are right! But why should discogs really block someone because of a dumbstick´s opinion?

I think that a can delete a thread if they consider it to be spam. Is this true?

s - please take a look into this. This is more than a question of just a spam thread, as this has violated the Guidelines and refuses to request removal for their spurious submissions. Etc.
