Marketplace should include "Price (+ Shipping)" as sort filter.

I'd like to suggest the possibility of adding "Price (+ Shipping)" as a sort filter of the marketplace. When browsing marketplace items on my want list, I am often confronted with items that contain exorbitant shipping fees that. For example, there is an item on my want list currently listed priced at €7.50 with an additional shipping cost of €100,000,000.00, bringing the total price to about $110,294,008.27. Despite this, the item appears higher on my search results than an item with a total (Price + Shipping) cost of ~$13.82 total.
Implementing "Price (+Shipping)" as an additional feature would provide greater accessibility to the platform and encourage greater activity in the marketplace.
As a professional web developer myself - even without greater context into the platform architecture - I do not think this would be a "heavy lift" for Discogs developers. -

This is such an obvious, useful feature that it baffles the mind they haven't done this yet.
It has been pointed out many times already in the forums.
I guess they've been too busy striking backdoor deals with Paypal.... -

Agreed...would be useful as a buyer and a seller. -

It’s a good suggestion that gets suggested about once a month. Seems discogs isn’t in a hurry to implement this. -

Jillbo could you shine some light on this one perhaps? :) -

To add; what's the use of limiting the amount of filters when you traverse the marketplace via your wantlist (compared to viewing all of discogs items for sale). Makes NO sense either..(?) -

While they're at it they should definitely show VAT in the marketplace too and take that into when sorting too. -

Perhaps it's because of the potential problem with many listings offering several different shipping options?
Should they choose to calculate 'ed airmail' cost over 'hand-delivered by a voluptuous scantily clad blonde'? -

Also, I wonder if Discogs will ever be going to add the SHELLAC Format onto their SHIPPING POLICIES?
Shellac's weight up to 500 grams, or about one kilo including a decent packing.
Since because the Shellac Format is still missing on the Discogs shipping policies as of today, Discogs tends to automatically add the super low shipping rates for one 7" vinyl 45 onto their invoices whenever one of my heavy SHELLAC records sells.
I've put my shipping policies by using the "number of items" system, and therefore not by weight. The weight for Shellac's, and vinyl always shows wrong on Discogs anyway.
Since because a SHELLAC rates as one small vinyl 45 by Discogs standards, I would now have to put something like COUNTS AS 25 ITEMS in order to end up with approximately the correct rates for ONE SHELLAC, but I would never be able to put the 100% exact correct rates for a SHELLAC by selling on an INTERNATIONAL BASIC simply because the format is still missing on the Discogs Shipping Policies as of today.
Plus it would take me at least one day to mark all my Shellac 78s with the necessary COUNTS AS 25 ITEMS..
I sure can't change my policies to SHIP BY WEIGHT, because most of the records on Discogs come with an entirely wrong weight, and because I definitely don't have the time to weight all of my records. I'm using a DIFFERENT shipping option for LPs due to their size, and would be totally unable to put my shipping policies by weight, because the rates that I will have to pay for shipping depend on the SIZE of my packages, and NOT on their weight. -

If you're a heavy Firefox , I've developed a Firefox plugin to sort the price as we all want it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/discogs-better-price-sorter/
It's simplistic, just hit the icon when you're on a page that needs sorting. Best to have the largest amount of listed items possible as it can't pull from the proceeding paginated data (get as much as you can on page 1 by sorting by "price", then, run the plugin for maximum sorting benefit). -

Thanks for having made this. (There a way to get mobile extension of this too perhaps? ;))
It's insane Discogs just refuses to even comment on why they don't. -
