Even though the app is public, we are hard at work developing new features, fixing bugs, and making general usability improvements. Because of this, we will continue beta testing new versions of the app as we add more features. Beta testers will have early access to new versions of the app, and have their chance to offer before new features are released to the general public.
For current beta testers, please post any here (or email [email protected] and let me know you are running the beta version of the app). That way I'll be sure to see your (and know that your is related to the beta version, not the public version).
We've just released a new version to Android beta testers (Version 1.0.3). Improvements include:
- Fixed incorrect dates on orders & purchases.
- Improved management.
- Improved sorting collection/wantlist/orders.
- Now possible to move app to SD card.
- Better for horizontal screens.
- Improved bug reporting and error handling.
- Much faster fetching of recent activity & submissions.
- Added thumbnails to the recommendations.
- Better for physical keyboards.
- Fixed incorrect page numbers in notifications.
- Improved app performance and many more bug fixes and adjustments
Sure, I would be happy to serve as a beta tester. It appears that there is a lot of interesting activity going on to improve this app, and beta testers should hopefully be able to help out.
Hi Swamp55, I'm only able to add Google / Gmail s to the beta test, so the email you have associated with your Discogs won't work. If you have a Google email , just send me the email address via Private message and I'll be sure to get you added to the beta test ASAP.
Thanks for adding me, Weetzie - one bug i'm noticing is that while i'm adding my collection, the app freezes after 20-or-so additions? This is on both my Xperia Z1 and also on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Hope this is the right place to post.

Installed latest version from Play Store. Unfortunately no luck with adding any record to my collection via search or barcode. Scan Also takes very long to search. Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. Thanks

App continues to prompt me to "authenticate" and presents page. I enter credentials then get "failed to synchronize" "failed to authenticate" messages. I just does not work.
Thanks for reporting this! We are investigating the underlying cause of this issue - I believe it relates to the security of the Discogs OAuth flow. Currently authentication runs into issues if your device's time or date is set to the past.
I'm fairly certain that if you check your phone or tablet settings and adjust the time and date settings to Automatic (or just ensure they are accurate) then you should be able to .
From your general Settings > Date & Time (under System) > "Automatic date & time"

Hello, thanks for letting me test new features and thanks for the spp. Great work.
One thing, which I think could be a problem:
If I search in my collection (around 1500 Releases) the app starts to freeze and react really slow, after entering the first letter. On entering the next letters those do not appear in the search box, but they appear above my keyboard as hints.
The used Tablet is state of the art and should not be the reason for issues. Also the Internet connection is fine.
Hi triplem74, thanks for the ! We are aware of this slow down issue for larger collections - we are investigating and hoping to improve app speed and stability for larger Collections soon. Sorry for any frustration in the meantime!
We actually just released the beta version to production, so right now the beta version might be the version you already have installed. But we'll be releasing a new beta version soon that includes a lot of changes! :)

I wanted to post and thank you for fixing the search! My phone installed the new Beta version today and the search is great! As someone who has greater than 2100 items in my collection it now works perfectly and reliably. i searched 10 times consecutively and it was perfect each time. Before it became almost useless when i was quickly trying to see if I had something while I was at a shop or browsing at a show. Thank you very much !
