I have never submitted anything but my own work. What possible grounds could anyone have for down voting my contributions?

I have only ever contributed my own work.

REFLUX was my high school band. It consisted of my friends. It evolved over many years into the band everyone knows with Tosin Abasi and Ash Avildsen and myself etc.. There were many different . Years of work. Ash and I met in high school. I’m offended by this probationary designation. Contributor improvement program. If you have a question you can ask me. I am not a computer wiz or a lawyer. If you want clarification about something you need to me.

You submitted numerous duplicated releases with incorrect information to an open database that other s are free to correct/amend & vote upon.

There is no "organized effort to bury you personally", there is no "doxing" there is nothing "litigious".

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I hate computers. If you think something is wrong then fix it.

They are not duplicate releases. One is ancient and was only ever available at shows. The recent is a digital release. It’s never been available on iTunes or any other music app. It makes available to everyone something that was previously out of print. It is not the same thing at all.

The illusion of Democracy has some reworked songs but everything on illusion and the previously unreleased EP belongs to reflux and is my personal submission.

Maybe you’re referring to the fact that Tosin played guitar and bass on the EP.

I appreciate that this is funny for you but it upsets me. That band was 10 years of my life.

Nothing was duplicate. The digital release has been enhanced and is a re-release of an out of print EP that was never ed to any music sharing app until recently.

Illusion of democracy has some reworked songs from the ep but illusion and the ep are all my personal submissions. They reflect 10 years of my life. So it bothers me

It seems like this was probably stuff that went down a while ago (10 years) and has come back up to irritate.

Yes it was long ago. We released that EP in pieces. We went through many member changes. Dave Lozano plays drums on tracks 1,3. Stephen Clifford plays drums (circa survive) on tracks 2,4. We put it out in 2003 and signed with prosthetic based off that EP.

Recently I had the old songs digitally enhanced and we made them available digitally to everyone for the first time ever.

Anyway I came here to update the info for the digital release and I find this probationary nonsense.

Like I have to prove my own life to strangers. Amazing

It's not about any of that.

Your new digital release hasn't been voted on but for instance there are some mistakes in of how things are suppose to be entered. Nobody has to know anything about you or your band to see that or vote on it. It looks like you got a bunch of negative votes about 10 years ago and you've been on CIP since then.

Let's see - if you can correct that maybe we can get your vote average up.

Ok I’m terrible with computers. I’m happy to clear up anything. And I invite people to fix anything they want. Like Tosin played guitar and bass on the EP recording. A lot of people don’t know that.

Why in 2013 did I get a bunch of down votes? All I was doing was correcting the record and a bunch of people who weren’t there make comments about the way I ed the files? Who even cares. The point is that it was 10 years of my life. It matters to me.

You want your edits to be voted "correct" so you need to do the editing yourself.

OK. On the digital release you just added - Reflux Feat. Tosin Abasi - Reflux

    - File releases need a number in the Qty. box - i.e. 4 for the number of tracks.
    - In the submission history you have to provide a link where it can be (or could be) obtained
    - The main title "Reflux" and the words "The" and "And" in the first song should be written like that - first letter capitalised.

Is the digital release released by Prosthetic Records ?

The Steve Clifford seems to have been a member of a British Punk group in 1978, same person?

No it’s not by prosthetic. It’s self-released. Prosthetic is just the label everyone associates with us.

    There are 5 tracks

    1. Above the Pyramid and Eye
    2. Single File to Bliss
    3. Life is More Precious than Land
    4. Covet the Day
    5. OREA

The only way to get off the CIP is by receiving correct votes for correct edits. If someone else fixes those releases, it will not help you get off the CIP.

I am not good with computers. I have never ed anything but my own original material. What is your problem? I simply corrected the record. Do you have a problem with people getting credit for the work they have done?

I assure you I am me. These are my original pieces that you’re coming in here requesting to be removed for some technical BS

It reflects 10 years of my life.

Oh I think you're referring to Reflux Feat. Tosin Abasi - Reflux

With digital submissions, we're supposed to document where the release can be found in the submission history. I don't think they were recommending that you add Spotify and specific Youtube video URLs to the artist profile pages.

They literally asked me to provide links where they could find the songs

We asked for links from which the files of the exact version of the release that you submitted to the database could (legitimately) be *ed*. Spotify is a streaming service – you don't possess audio files when using Spotify – it's more like listening to the radio than buying a CD/LP. The Apple Music link though is somewhere from which the release can be ed (when purchasing it), so I amended your submission to reflect the files that can be ed from that service.

It's not about how you'd like your musical output to be documented but how things have to be entered according to the rules of this site/database.

There's an enormous section of guidelines about this, starting here: https://.discogs.sie.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005006334-Database-Guidelines-1-General-Rules

The errors you made are not so much about your musical history as about the details of how you entered that history into this particular site, many of which didn't match the way things should be done *here*.

I invite anyone who knows how to correct it to correct it. It asked me for links to the songs. I’ve got iTunes links and Spotify links and whatever else they want.

The YouTube links are of live performances. They have the digital release overdubbed. They are for fun and for people to enjoy.
