The ones for this sub appear to be photos at least: Serious Black - Rise Of Akhenaton (notice the glare at the left on both images, and the uneven colour and sharpness)

Many of the others do look suspicious, but if you use a scanner and do some proper editing to get the cropping and colours right, then a scan could easily be that good. It is a bit odd that those have only the front cover image though; why just scan the front if you're scanning and editing anyway. Whereas the one I linked to above where it's clear theyre actual photos from a camera, he's ed both front and back (and if the others are scans, why use a camera for this one)

So yes I think maybe your suspicions are correct on most of them.

with a scanner and cropping it will be almost impossible to get all perfect squares of 1500*1500pxs
and a digipak will never be square like this Anomalie (4) - Riverchild

(sorry for possible "necroposting" but this is the only relevant forum concerning this submitter that I found)

    alessio did not responded.
Unfortunately, this appears to have continued to steal images from different websites recently (possible resize of images for attempt to foul the verification if websourced or not). So I removed some images (did not removed some because I do not have absolute proofs of some).

I permit to reping alessio.caporossi for invite to reply here about the complaint of stolen images RSG §13.1.4 (mainly from Amazon apparently) from different s because he did not hear the ping from this thread.

May be we need a mediator who speaks Italian because Alessio responded to my action in Italian here https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/33894339-Tokyo-Live/history

Tons of square mockups that don't represent digipak releases; aren't cropped like the final release; etc. Working through a bunch.

    alessio.caporossi,

Please stop ing and re-enabling mockups, which you continue to do. Tons of your old mockups that you have now replaced (thanks for this!) turned out to not even match how the physical release looks. The database is more useful when it documents the actual releases.

    alessio.caporossi ,

my cd photos are all original. i had to put back a lot of photos. that's enough.

"you put off the desire to contribute. you remove the covers but don't put them on, just to be annoying, zero use."

I disagree on a fundamental level. I can point out over a dozen instances where the digital mockups you initially ed don't match the actual design of the release, if it helps to illustrate why this is important.
