I Have A Request

Hi,
I bought a vinyl LP back in the late 1970s that I believe was considered New Wave at the time. It was a French band I believe, an import to the U.S. suggested to me by a record store employee. The big hit, or at least the song I really liked was called Superman. I have never been able to find this album again. But would love to purchase it. If anyone has it or knows what it is, I would appreciate your response. Sorry for being vague, but that's all I . I can't the album name or band name.

There's only 103 releases listed there, and plenty of duplicates.. so that might help narrow down your search.

I guess I can add a couple more little things. It was a male voice. And the Superman part of the riff was Su-Su-Su-Superman! Probably not much help. lol

I immediately thought of Téléphone, although I can't think of a likely candidate for the song. Their albums are on Spotify, however, so you could listen to it.

Or could it be 'Superman Superman' on Les Variations* - Café De Paris?

Yeah, I don't know why I thought it was French. But that's the way I ed thinking at the time almost 50 years ago.
