Teresa Sterne

American record producer, born in Brooklyn on March 29, 1927, died December 10, 2000. She decided to set aside her career as a concert pianist to become the first woman in America to guide the destiny of a prominent record label. She was director of Nonesuch Records from 1965 through 1979.
