Steve Malins is a writer, manager and music business facilitator. He has written books on Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Paul Weller and others, as well working with Gary Numan on his autobiography Praying To The Aliens. In 1997 Malins put together the Random tribute albums to Gary Numan and went on to nurture Numan’s career for the next sixteen years, switching between roles as manager, PR & plugger, as well as running the artist’s own label. He currently manages electro-pop pioneer John Foxx.
