Betty's Trash

Betty's Trash was formed in 1996 in Long Valley, New Jersey by their only consistent member King James , who wanted to combine the styles of his favorite bands Thrill Kill Kult, Sonic Youth and Lydia Lunch into one. Over the next few years Betty's Trash gained a cult following in New York City due to releasing several demo tapes and their wild live shows. This reputation has given them the opportunity to perform with bands like Jack Off Jill, Mindless Self Indulgence, and the Lunachicks.

Before breaking up in 2003 they released one EP, "Itsy Bitsy" and one LP "More Broken Dishes" and cycled though several full line up changes.
