June Carter

American country singer-songwriter and autoharp player.
Born June 23, 1929, in Maces Spring, Virginia; died May 15, 2003, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Second child of Johnny Cash, with whom she had performed since 1964. Continued to be professionally known as June Carter even after their marriage.
Her biggest hit, co-written with Anita Carter.
