Marin Alsop

US American violinist and conductor, born October 16, 1956 in New York, who completed her studies first at the Yale University and later at the Juilliard School New York. With the beginning of the 2007-2008 season she was appointed as 12th Music Director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
