American producer, mixer, engineer, songwriter (ASCAP), journalist. Born New York City, 1949. BA University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, 1971. Staff producer and A&R for Paramount Records, 1973-1974. Signed Stephanie Mills to her first recording contract and produced Grammy nominated soundtrack album for the motion picture "Serpico" in 1973. Engineer at Mediasound Studios, NYC, 1975 to 1978. Independent dance remix specialist, 1978-1984. Long-term collaborator with Steve Thompson & Michael Barbiero.
