Profile: |
Ted Lucas was a mainstay in the Detroit music scene throughout the '60s and '70s. He founded groups like the Spike-Drivers, the Misty Wizards, the Horny Toads, and the Boogie Disease. He also played guitar, sitar and harmonica on a number of Motown sessions, most notably Norman Whitfield and R. Dean Taylor productions. In 1975, he self-released a solo album, Ted Lucas, that received little attention in his lifetime. |
