Matthew Shipp

American pianist, born 7th December 1960 in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. Playing piano since age of six. Studied at New England Conservatory of Music under Rob Brown (4). Although most of his work is free jazz, Shipp has also performed in the classical and hip-hop genres.
