Margarete Matzenauer

(Temesvár, 01.06.1881 - Van Nuys (Los Angeles), 05/19/1963): born in Temesvár (formerly Austria-Hungary, now Romania). Her father was a conductor, her mother an opera singer. Her voice had a large range: she could perform both alto and dramatic soprano roles.
