Real Name:

Brian Cornelius McDonough Cardew

Profile:

Cornelius Cardew (7 May 1936–13 December 1981) was an English avant-garde composer, and founder (with Michael Parsons) of the Scratch Orchestra, an experimental performing ensemble. He later rejected the avant-garde in favour of a politically motivated 'people's liberation music'.
His sons Walter Cardew are also musicians.
