Profile:	American jazz and blues drummer, percussionist, xylophonist, washboard, & slide whistle player. Born 24 February 1900 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Died August, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois Bertrand recorded with Jimmy Bertrand's Washboard Wizards He was the brother-in-law of Jelly Roll Morton and brother of the showgirl Mabel Bertrand.
