Profile:

Band from Burnage, Manchester, founded in the summer of 1980, initially around the core of vocalist Tony , bassist Ged Duffy and drummer Shan Hira. Their unusual name represents a combination of Bowie's then-current Scary Monsters album and a pleasant-sounding Eurocity.
Other included Lita Hira on keyboards, Lindsay Anderson on trumpet, Karl , John Rhodes.
They signed to Factory Records and many releases were produced by New Order.
The band split up in 1987.
