He graduated in Fine Arts in 1968 and shortly afterwards signed to Peter Sarstedt.

In 1983, Tim tly founded what was to become the largest fully independent British music publishing company, Belwin Mills. Filmtrax also financed many British films including "Room with a View" and "Mona Lisa".

Tim subsequently became chairman and owner of Leosong Copyright Service Ltd. which is now part of Music Copyright Solutions PLC (Conexion Media Group PLC). He was chairman of the business development group of the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.

In 1999, he founded MCS Music which was the first music publishing company to offer its stock on the OFEX market and is now a leading independent media music publishing company.

In 2008 Tim founded Copyright istration Services Ltd., now a leading independent world wide istration company.

In January 2010, Tim began working with the legendary songwriter Barry Mason Music.

Together with Simon Fawcett, Tim founded Atlantic Screen Composers Ltd. which is istered by CAS (Copyright istration Services). Atlantic Screen Composers is an investment fund for the creation of film music and TV series.

Tim Hollier ed away on the 5th of July, 2017, after complications following a minor operation.
