Willie Nix

American blues singer and drummer, active in Memphis, Tennessee, in the 1940s and 1950s.

Nix first recorded RPM in Memphis in 1951, recorded again the Sun studio in Memphis in 1952 (with two sides on Checker and two more sides on Sun released at the time) and had a last recording session in for Chance in Chicago, Illinois, in 1953.
He also appeared in the backing bands behind Joe Hill Louis in the same time period.
