ABBA: The Vinyl Collection is a limited edition box set containing ABBA's eight studio albums, originally released 1973–1981: Ring Ring, Waterloo, ABBA, Arrival, The Album, Voulez-Vous, Super Trouper and The Visitors. The box set also contains a bonus album, entitled ABBA Tracks, the A-side of which contains the five single A-sides not included on the original studio albums. The B-side of ABBA Tracks features a further five non-album songs, personally selected by ABBA's Benny Andersson.
Going back to the analogue master tapes for each individual album, as originally prepared by ABBA and their associates, the albums in the ABBA: The Vinyl Collection box set have been remastered for vinyl especially for this release. The track listings of the albums mirror the original Swedish releases, as originally planned and conceived by ABBA. Similarly, the eight studio albums are presented in replica covers featuring the original artwork and inner sleeves – exactly as they looked when they first hit record shops back in the '70s and early '80s.
Also includes 52-page booklet.

Some copies of The Visitors insert lyric sleeve have a printing error on side 2. Lyrics from the bottom of side 1's have been accidentally printed in the same spots, however not wrecking the actual song lyrics themselves.

An absolutely terrible set. I have many of the original albums, and have compared them. The albums in this boxed-set sound crude and constrained compared to the original issues.
I suspect that the albums in this boxed-set have been mastered from the CD’s, they’re that bad. -
There is no pixelated artwork anywhere on the sleeves or in the booklet, and the sound is consistently very good. This set is tremendous overall. -
AVOID. Abysmal mastering and pixilated artwork. This release is an embarrassment and an insult to ABBA and their fans. Go and buy all the original Japan or Sweden pressings. Way better sound and artwork, and you'll save yourself a fortune. -
I am very happy to own a copy of this along with a note from the art director of the book. My name is also in the book as i was one of the first 1000 people to pre- order the box set. -
This must be really nice to have, shame that the price has skyrocketted, at the most it should be 130E
